Really good! The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, as were the chips. Service provided was swift and friendly.
Been coming to the Norfolk broads for some 30 years, walked into Greys fish and chips, both myself and my 87 year old father agreed that was the best fish and chips we have ever had, friendly people 10 out or 10.
Had a pensioners portion of Cod and chips bread a tea for 11:99 not a bad size portion for the price very friendly place to eat pristine clean and food cooed to order so really fresh didn't ha e to wait for a table
Stopped off after visiting bewilderwood norfolk for a bite to eat and found this little town called Hoveton&Wroxham. Parked up and walked along the bridge and found Grays fish and chip shop. Decided to eat in as those sneaky seagulls were flying around keeping an eye out on everyone's food if you were brave enough to sit outside by the water. Walked in and sat down straight away, staff very friendly and polite, ordered food which didn't take to long. We ordered kids nuggets and chips, kids cod ad chips, 1/4 chicken and chips, board special seafood dish . Came out after 10-15mins and then there was silence . My family tucked in and enjoyed there fresh, tasty food. 5 * well worth the visit for a bite to eat.
Great fish and chips in Wroxham. Chips were crispy on outside and soft in the inside. Fish has been cooked with Grey’s famous batter. The batter was crispy and the fish was fresh, tasty and moist. It was the same from first bite till the last bite. It is as it says on the box “Fresh and Tasty” Sat at Granry Staithe to enjoy the best view with great food. Definitely coming back for more.
Great little Fish and Chip Restaurant that also does takeaway. Both fish and chips were delicious and an excellent coffee also. Great location also.
So when I walked Into the seating area, I was greeted with a really clean area, found a seat and went and ordered the cod and chips, a lovely lady took my order. In no time at all our meal was delivered, oh my god what a portion. Now let's talk about the food, best thing I can say is it was amazing, some of the best fish and chips I've sampled. I can not recommend this place enough, get yourself down here, you will not be disappointed 5
Don't bother with McDonald's down the road. These were probably the best chips I've ever had and decently sized too. Even the vinegar was irresistibly tasty. If it wasn't so far from where we're staying I'd have it as my go-to chippy.
